King Salman to Host 1,000 Palestinian Pilgrims for Hajj 2025

Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued directives to host 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded among the Palestinian people at his own expense to perform Hajj this year.

This initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, which is implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.

The program aims to facilitate the sacred pilgrimage for Palestinians facing hardship, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian community and strengthening Islamic solidarity.

Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and General Supervisor of the program, expressed his deep gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for this generous gesture.

He highlighted that this reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing care and wise leadership’s dedication to supporting the Palestinian people and reinforcing the bonds of Islamic brotherhood.

The ministry has already begun executing a comprehensive plan to ensure all necessary services and facilities are provided to the Palestinian pilgrims, from their departure to their return, within a fully integrated system covering their stay in Makkah and Madinah.

Since its establishment in 1417 AH, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program has hosted more than 64,000 pilgrims from various countries.

This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s continuous efforts to serve Islam and Muslims worldwide, reinforcing its status as the heart of the Islamic world and the Qibla of Muslims.

The 2025 hosting of Palestinian pilgrims further exemplifies the Kingdom’s leadership role in facilitating Hajj and supporting Muslim communities in need.
